GLORIOUS EASTER!!!

What a wonderful Easter Sunday we had at Gateway!!   Our "Sonrise" service was a great start with 100 in attendance and God held off the rain as we listened to the Resurrection story from Steven and watched the dawn break in the eastern sky.

Then we joined several other of our new brothers & sisters in Christ for a delicious breakfast at Deb & Jim's house.  We have been so blessed by so many sweet new friends.

Our morning was also blessed at our Worship time with 328 in attendance, plus 12 in the nursery!  The music was great, the message was so inspiring and the fellowship was awesome.  We had a couple join Gateway and a young man was saved.  So exciting!  The icing on our cake was that Clayton, Erica, Braddock, Beckham, Arianna & Alayna joined us for worship.  Then we enjoyed lunch together and they visited with us in our new RV park in the afternoon!

So eternally grateful to our Lord & Savior for His sacrifice that ensures our abundant & eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son.  That whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life."  John 3:16

Our grandson, Gabe, had surgery on his leg.  The Dr removed a benign bone tumor and had to break the two bones in his lower leg in order to correct the deformity the tumor had caused.  He will wear a fixator for 3 months...so not a fun summer.  Prayers appreciated!!

EASTER FUN FOR THE GATEWAY KIDS!!!

Despite the threatening rainy weather, we had a hugely successful day of fun!  We had tons of great adult volunteers who helped to put a lot of smiles on precious faces!  The children enjoyed crafts, music time, resurrection cookies, the Easter story by Pastor Steve, thousand of eggs to hunt, and human hungry hippo egg game for the youth.  The weather was not even a thought!!!   :-)

GOOD FRIDAY LED TO A GREAT SUNDAY!

An amazing Good Friday service tonight at Gateway.  So thankful for my Savior, His willing sacrifice that made my abundant and eternal life possible.  Spent two wonderful hours with my brothers & sisters-in-Christ, good music, an inspiring message and the reminder that "It may be Friday...but Sunday's coming!"  

GATEWAY HAPPENINGS

We have been at Gateway Baptist for 2 months and our blessings are so abundant!  We have been embraced with TONS of love and kindness and we are so honored to serve our Christ King with these wonderful people!  Last month they had the Awana racers, a fun night of games and food.  Steven entered a car on behalf of Bear & Bubba (they decorated it) and came in 2nd place!  He earned a trophy and a ribbon which the boys proudly display in their bedroom!  They were so excited!
