THANKFUL

IT STARTS EARLY

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES...

Why is is that us gals LOVE our shoes?  Most all of us have more than a few pairs and are always looking for more!  Steven has maybe...4 pairs (total ???) and is perfectly content with that.   I can't relate!  I mean, maybe 4 pairs of black, 4 pairs of brown, 4 pairs of navy, 4 pairs of white, etc...and then there is the question of what type?
4 pairs of sandals, 4 pairs of flip-flops, 4 pairs of flats, 4 pairs of heels, 4 pairs of boots...and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface!!  

And, it seems we start this love affair very young.  Our 16 month old granddaughters absolutely LOVE shoes.  They want them on as soon as they get up and are only ready to take them off when another pair catches their eye.  Even in their pajamas, they know that the shoe makes the outfit!

 Just imagine how many pairs of shoes Brandon will end up paying for with his 4 ladies!!!

TAYLOR

Taylor is such a great big sister, always helping with Addyson & Kynley, and is a good playmate and babysitter too!  The girls never lack for attention when she is around and she is like a little mom when April needs a hand!  I know A&K will miss her a lot when she goes back to school!

Taylor is also getting ready for her new friends, new neighborhood, new school, and new church in her soon to be new state of Va.  Brandon's new assignment is in the Pentagon, so they will be moving close to the DC area July 1st!   She is sad to leave her friends here...but looking forward to her new friends there and all the new adventures that await her!

EVERYDAY IS PLAY DAY!

Life is definitely very busy for the Mom of twins!  April stays on the go from morning til night...and sometimes even through the night!  Addyson & Kynley keep her schedule full.   I have only gotten a taste of it for two weeks...but it is obvious that the JOY that is received in return is certainly worth all of the activity!  

A living room that is filled with toys certainly means smiles everyday!  And when the fun spills over to a trip to GYMBOREE...it is even better!

  

DOUBLE THE FUN!!

Spending a couple weeks helping Brandon & April getting ready for their move to Va.  The bonus is lots of "Granny Time" and with Addyson & Kynley all of the fun is doubled!!
