BUSY GRANNY

AM devotion listening to sweet Riley softly breathing...such a gift from God!

After two Sundays in our new church home...I boarded a plane to head back to spend some more time with Brandon & April and their sweet family.  Brandon has to go out of town on three separate occasions in the coming month and asked if I could be an extra pair of hands for April while he was away.  And, of course, this Granny always loves spending time with any of our ten wonderful grandchildren!!  Papa has graciously offered to do without me for a while and to take care of Maverick & Martina for me (that is a real BIG favor in his book!).  So I headed to the Southwest counter, once again.  Here is a glimpse of some of my moments in the past few weeks.  :-)

Banner from our dear MA friends, Theresa & Nick, now hangs in Steven's new office.

OUR NEW HOME!!

Two weeks ago we were called to Suwannee Station Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida...and accepted the call as their Interim Pastor & Wife!  Last Sunday we began our new ministry here, as Steven preached both the AM & PM services and then we were very warmly welcomed by the sweet people with an incredible spread of great country cooking!  On Monday, we packed-up our rolling home and moved onto the church's huge empty lot and got settled in.  It has been a busy, yet very productive week of exploring our new town and getting to know some of our new friends in The Lord.  We are excited about what God will do in and through us while we are here and we are confident that we will love it, just as we loved our interim in Springfield.  We are honored and humbled that God allows us to share HIS message with such amazing brothers and sisters in Christ.
Here are a few snapshots of our new place of residence.

We brought along "Fred" and a few yard decorations

Sprinkles of "Fall" make it feel homey!

My country decor will fit right in here!

Even the bed gets a touch of "Fall"

Can't forget the bathroom

Before we were even unpacked, the church provided a picnic table for us!

It is feeling like "home" already!
