A DAY WITH MICAH!

Our oldest son, Adam and his wife Jill began this neat little exercise with their Liz & Cael, where they would at the end of the day ask them what were your "highs & lows" today?  Meaning what was something good that happened and something not so good that happened?  A pretty neat way to start the conversation going.   :-)

Well, one of the highs of doing ministries on the road is meeting great people that you would normally not have the privilege of meeting on this side of glory.  We have been richly blessed while pastoring here in Massachusetts by so many wonderful new friends in Christ.  Our past eight months have been filled with many, many super memories!

However, one of the lows has been being so far away from our grandchildren.  This Granny & Papa (especially Granny) have really missed our Liz, Cael, Taylor, Addyson, Kynley, Braddock and Beckham!  So, that has been a low...but our God is so good and a high is that He has provided me several opportunities to be a "Granny" here to our sweet little Micah, whose dad, Shiloh and mom Stephanie so graciously share with us.

Mom left us Rings to play with...

Much easier if you place the rings!

Rocking and thinking

Spotted a butterfly outside

Snack Time!

Figuring out the box

And a stray cat showed up

Rocking the bear

Waiting for my snack  :-)

Mastered it!

The rings make a silly hat

Rubbing eyes...nap time soon

M&M keep him running & chasing

Putting things away

They work as a teething ring too!

Figured out it comes apart...of course

Lemonade, yum!

Happy Boy!

Spinning around...

Peek-A-Boo!

Laughter IS the best medicine!

So much fun!

His reaction to my dancing!

Love My Lamby

Which also serves as a teether!

What a super fun day!!!

Weekend Fun

Steven and I took the Harley to a quaint little barn nearby that has been made into a great ice cream shop!  It was a very hot (Florida-type) day and the place was packed!
There is so much charm in many of these New England towns.  They have not allowed industry and progress to over-run the "Mom & Pop" establishments that make cities so unique.  It is refreshing!

Then on Saturday, we attended the Massachusetts Baptist Association picnic in Sturbridge, MA and had the privilege of meeting some really great brothers & sisters in Christ.  It was another pretty day of enjoying fun & fellowship!

HARLEY TIME

While I was spending time with the grandkids, Steven explored a few new places on our Harley and today was a great day to share those places with me!  So off we went to ride the Mohawk Trail!  The panoramic view from the Harley can never fully be captured on a camera lens...but here are a few of the sights we saw as we put some miles on the bike.  We left the house at 8AM and returned home at 4PM...a really full day of enjoying God's creation!

Beautiful flowers everywhere

Great to see church steeples from a distance

Picture perfect day!
