A common sight around here.  This is how we were greeted when we went to visit one of our church members!  Only in the country do you get a welcoming committee with such personality!

GO LIZ!!!

We were able to attend Landrum's football game last night and watch our cute granddaughter, Liz, as she cheered on her team.  She is very athletic and nailed every flip.  Cute & talented!!  Grace was on the sidelines cheering on her sister...however, Braddock & Beckham were more interested in their video games!  The day will come (soon enough) when those sweet boys are VERY interested in the cheerleaders!    :-)

JOHN 3:16...Enough Said!

So thankful for a loving Savior who walks every step of my life with me.  HIS mercies are new every morning.  Feeling Blessed!!!

OUT IN THE COUNTRY

Living out in the country for the past year we have sure have had some new experiences.  One of which happened this past week when our good friends Pat & Steve asked us to come by and see the five and a half foot rattlesnake they killed on their property!  It seems that this is the season for those creepy reptiles to be prevalent and two of our church members had stories to tell of finding them in their yards.  The following pictures do not do justice to the snake...trust me...I was very thankful he was very dead!!  He was as long as I am tall and had 14 rattles on his tail (fourth pic) and I am thankful that I did not hear them rattle!!

LEGOLAND!!!

A couple of weeks ago I had the fun privilege of going to Orlando with Clayton, Erica, Bear, Bubba, Arianna & Alayna.   The Florida Air National Guard had a free weekend at the Rosen Hotel for the guardsmen, post deployment.   I helped out with childcare so he & Erica could attend the sessions offered during the 2 day event.   Then we headed 45 minutes down the road to Winter Haven to enjoy Legoland as a treat to B&B for being such great big brothers!  The hotel & theme park were more than amazing!   I highly recommend it.  Such fun!  And I can truly say, "Everything Is Awesome!"  :-)

It was a fun two days.  The hotel was amazing...a theme park in itself!  Every elevator ride had disco lights and music.   The Bricks restaurant served the best delicious breakfast buffet I have ever had.  The room was loaded with treats.   Truly a great memory!
