ENDING ON A VERY HIGH NOTE!

The last leg of our vacation took us "back home" to Va Beach.  Where we were able to spend a few days with Mama & Daddy.  It is always so good to spend time with them...those moments are cherished in my heart.  And their house is chocked full of memories since I lived there from the time I was 10 years old until I was 21 years!!!   Lots of memories!

We planned our arrival so that I could accompany Mama to her appointment at the infusion center, where she goes monthly to receive two bottles of Gamma-Globulin, to help build up her immune system.   She sits for 5-6 hours hooked up to an IV, so we had a full morning of chatting!  Made the hours pass quickly!

She and Daddy amaze me.  I am so blessed that they are on this side of glory!   We are still making memories...and for that I thank God.

We also took a ride into Norfolk to see Sheri, Jessie, Benjamin & Jasmine.   They have gutted and remodeled their kitchen & living room and it looks incredible!  Unfortunately, I lost my brain and did not take any pics while we were there!   So bummed.  She has decorated the nursery in adorable owls...so cute!   And they have recently found out that they are having a little girl!   So next February I (once again) become a Great Aunt!

Our two weeks away were refreshing and we are now back in Live Oak to finish strong in our Interim here.   Not sure where God will lead us next...but very sure that He has a plan for us!   Jeremiah 29:11  And that is good enough!

NEW ENGLAND...IN THE FALL

After we left Canada, we headed to Springfield, MA. to revisit our friends at Church In The Acres and enjoy some of the fall foliage of New England.   The leaves were infused with incredible colors that could only be painted by a magnificent Creator!  And we so enjoyed the time spent renewing our friendships with our northern brothers & sisters in Christ!   So thankful for the time God allowed us to serve side-by-side with such great people!!

NIAGARA FALLS...CANADA!

After a super visit with Brandon, April, Taylor, Addyson, Kynley & Riley...we ventured to Canada!  We had hoped to visit Niagara Falls in the 18 months we were in Springfield, Ma. but never got around to it.   So, my adventuresome husband thought we needed to check that box.  We drove across the border to Ontario and spent three days enjoying the magnificent sights of the Falls and the beautiful town surrounding it.  We took in the imax movie of the ones who went over the Falls (in various apparatus') and also rode on the "Hornblower" boat that takes you right down in the mist of the mighty waters.  It was amazing!   And the funny thing is that on the very same boat we met a couple from Jax!  Small, small world.  Truly a sight worth seeing!

The falls at night are rainbow colors!
