We woke to a beautiful (very chilly, but beautiful) morning. The sun was shining very brightly enhancing the mountainous scenery around us...and Steven had a plan...of course he did! He thought it would be a great idea to explore the area of the Acadia National Park, which is just right around the corner! So I layered-up (5 to be exact) and we headed out. When we arrived at the entrance, we saw there was a HUGE lake, Eagle Lake, and of course Steven thought it "would be fun and great exercise" to walk the path around the lake. So we did...and walked...and walked...and walked...and walked! When we finally made it back to the car (for which I said, "Thank You Jesus"!) I googled the distance we had just walked...6.1 miles! No wonder my legs hurt all night! But we caught a lot of great pics along the way. God's creation is amazing!
