Steaming Tenders

My good friend, Barbara, introduced us to a great restaurant in Palmer, MA called Steaming Tenders.  It is an old train depot from the 1800's.  It actually is the train depot that Barbara's dad arrived at when he returned from WWII.  Trains still actually travel past and an Amtrak came by while we were eating!  Was incredibly loud and so exciting!!  So much atmosphere!!!   Loved this!!

Dining Car outside of restaurant, Barbara leading the way.

Stacks of old luggage as we entered.

Dining car decorated in 1800's decor.

Incredible wood floors!

Like going back in time.

Trains arrived on either side of building.

Beautiful fall mums everywhere.

Post card shows evening atmosphere.

Antique props around every corner.

  1. That looks like such a fun place. I would love to have dinner there! (We don't get to MA too often, but I'll keep it in mind.)
