MEMORIAL DAY

PRAYING FOR & HONORING ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED/ARE SERVING

This small flag has been a part of our home since 2004.  When our middle son, Brandon was deployed to Iraq, I wanted a visual nearby my daily devotion corner, to keep him constant in our minds/hearts.  This, along with a small light in our window, brought minute by minute reminders that our hearts were also deployed with him.  We were often torn and our prayers were fervent for his safety.  It has many times been an acknowledgement of the sacrifices so many have made and continue to make for this great country we call home.  Through 2 deployments for Brandon and 3 deployments for Steven, it has carried the yellow ribbon on top as a reminder that my men came home whole.  I am eternally grateful to God for that.  I know so many others do not have the same testimony...for them we stop and pray asking God's love and comfort for their families left behind.   THANK YOU...

                                        GOD BLESS AMERICA!
