First of all, yesterday was our 43rd wedding anniversary! It is amazing how fast the years have flown. It was a good day for reflecting, reminiscing, remembering and rejoicing over all of the incredible blessings that God has showered on us. Our incredible sons, their wonderful wives, and our precious twelve grandchildren delights our hearts on a regular basis! Our extended families have added much joy through the years and our life in ministry has provided hundreds of Christ-centered friends who have prayed with us and for us on a regular basis. So many memories for which to give thanks! We are happily pressing on to the BIG 50! Just a funny side-note, I saw a t-shirt once that said, "The First 50 Years of Marriage Is The Hardest" :-) All in all, it has been a great adventure!
Secondly, we are so enjoying our Interim pastorate here at Gateway Baptist in Lake City! We have been overwhelmed with love and encouragement in the seven weeks we have been here! Our members have adopted us into their church family and made us feel at home since day one. We are praising God for such an awesome place to serve Him with these wonderful, loving and caring people! Blessings abound!
