HAPPY HOMECOMING!

Jill, Gabe & Debo-Grace arrived safely (thanks so much for all the prayer support) and excited to begin their new adventure as a family of 6!!!   We took tons of pictures and I was going to blog about it all.   But Jill's blog is concise, complete and full of great pictures...so I am just going to refer to to her...   :)     Enjoy our incredible day!

ANSWERED PRAYERS!!!

It was a Hallelujah day!   Gabriel's visa was approved and is being printed!!  Jill will pick it up tomorrow AM and the three of them will fly home on Sunday!  There will be a sweet reunion soon as this family begins to finally all live under one roof!

PAST FEW WEEKS...

Traveled to ATL to enjoy Liz & Cael while Adam & Jill headed off to Ghana...enjoyed Erica, Braddock, Beckham, Nina & Austin as they stopped over on their way to KY for Darlin's home-going...then on to VA to reconnect with Steven and drive to NC for Jackie's home-going...then back to VA to check on Mama after her hospitalization...then back to ATL for another week of Liz & Cael duty...then another goodbye to Steven as he heads back to MA to resume his pastoral duties...Thankful for his calling & commitment to our Mighty God and His Bride.  Thankful to be entrusted with the care of my grandchildren...thankful that Adam & Jill have hearts that are so loving and giving...thankful to have known and loved Jackie & Darlin...thankful to an incredible husband who takes such good care of me making sure I get to where my heart is...thankful for the good health of my parents at their ages (80 & 85)...thankful Erica desires to take care of Grandpa...and that Clayton makes sacrifices so she can stay in KY...thankful for Brandon & April always making their home a welcome place to stop in on our travels...thankful for my sister and all those who constantly keep our family in their prayers.   THANKFUL!!!

A HOLE IN MY HEART

Anne called this AM to say that Jackie had quietly passed away at 7:20 am with his family surrounding him at his bedside.  Heaven has gained an incredible bonus today.  He is now reunited with his parents (Mr Jack & Ms Janie) whom he adored.  Anne has a very long road ahead of her.  Many, many prayers are helping her through today and many, many more will be needed for the difficult days she will have to face without him by her side.  I am so thankful she has such a great family/church support system.

Steven will preach his funeral.  What an honor to do so.  His passing has left a hole in many hearts.  I am thankful his journey through this horrid cancer ordeal is finished and he is now resting in the arms of my magnificent Savior!  I will look forward to reuniting with my dear, dear friend and brother-in-Christ one day in glory!  I am assured that when he saw my Jesus this morning, he heard, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"

PRAYERS NEEDED

Please be in prayer as Adam & Jill head to Ghana, to hopefully bring Gabriel & Debora home!  It has been a long, arduous journey...that needs to reach the end.  There are many obstacles in their path.  Please pray that God will open doors (and knock down a few if necessary) to acquire the paperwork necessary to join those two sweet children to this great home full of love awaiting them!  They will be flying out tomorrow.  I will be with Liz & Cael, keeping their daily routine as normal as possible for a couple of weeks.  We covet your prayers for safe travel and this home of 4 becoming a completed home of 6!    Thank you so much!

JANUARY CHRISTMAS!

We were blessed to spend a few days at Christmas with Brandon, April, Taylor, Addyson, Kynley (& our newest grandson)!   Loved being with them.  And then in January we were able to make a trip to Va Bch to spend a few days with Mama & Daddy and then on to Jax to catch-up on some sister time with Ellen and Granny/Papa time with Braddock, Beckham, Erica & Clayton!   We missed Adam, Jill, Liz & Cael this trip, but glad we were with them in November.
